SSRCx, the commissioning subsidiary of Smith Seckman Reid, Inc., recently hired Ted Foster, PE, PSP, CxA as a senior project and new business development manager with responsibility for the firm’s Southeast territory.

In his new position, Foster will manage new business development within federal, state and local government sectors. Prior to joining SSRCx, he served as a federal account manager for Intellimar/Concentric Security, LLC in Huntsville, Ala.

Foster earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Naval Academy. He also earned his professional engineer licensure in mechanical design, and is an ASIS International board certified physical security professional and certified commissioning agent.

In addition, Foster is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers, American Society for Testing and Materials and ASIS International.
